Giardino, of Brockton, July 5, 2005, Nicholas J. Giardino, 77 years. Beloved husband of Carolyn F. (Pelosi) Giardino. Father of Lynne Tarr, Mary Beth Gaynor and Paul Giardino all of Brockton. Loving grandfather of Nicole and Joe Buckley and Meghann and Caleigh Gaynor.

Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 10am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 6-8pm. Donations in his name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368.

Obituary

Nicholas J. Giardino died Tuesday evening at his home in Brockton after a brief illness. He was born November 13, 1927, son of the late Mary (Orlando) Giardino. He was a lifelong resident, attended Brockton schools and had been employed by Elm Farm, Christy’s Market and Angelos Supermarket retiring in 1991. He enjoyed his vegetable garden, time spent with his family, and was a life long Red Sox fan.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn F. (Pelosi) Giardino, two daughters Lynne Tarr and Mary Beth Gaynor, one son Paul Giardino all of Brockton, four grandchildren Nicole and Joe Buckley and Meghann and Caleigh Gaynor, his niece and nephews, one sister Anna Iasimone of North Providence RI, and was the brother of the late Lilly Silva.
