IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nikkole
Mathis
September 6, 1973 – January 15, 2023
Nikkole L. Mathis, Affectionately known as "Nikki" was born on September 06, 1973, in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Robert L. Mathis and Wilhelmina Mathis.
Nikki graduated from the Muriel S. Snowden International School at Copley in 1992. She had an insatiable passion for
learning. For example, she took a Mandurian language class and had the opportunity to use those skills outside of the
school setting which brought great joy. She took the time to teach herself 'sign language' for the purpose of having the
ability to communicate with a small population of the hearing impaired. Her higher education started at Bunker Hill Community College. In the admiration of her brother Mark, she majored in accounting. Later she received her certificate for broadcasting
at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. Nikki's educational journey continued in other fields too long to list.
Throughout the years Nikki embraced writing poetry, photography, film and writing short sketches starring her nieces
and nephews of which she is fondly known as the fun Auntie.
Nikki is survived by her loving and amazing daughter Bryce R., her mother Wilhelmina, 7 siblings, a host of aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends who all loved her very dearly.
Funeral Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family.
