Noel Fortuna Noel Fortuna , 42, of Brockton, died suddenly Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after being stricken ill at his home. Boen February 6, 1966 in Portugal he was the son of Deodete (Jorge) Fortuna of Brockton and the late Jose A. Fortuna. Mr. Fortuna came to the United States in 1969 and he had previously worked at Morse Shoe Company Warehouse in Canton. He enjoyed working on his truck and fixing things mechanical. He is survived by his mother, Deodete (Jorge) Fortuna; his brother and sister, Vigilio Fortuna of Fall River and Lucy Easler of Brockton; his nephews and nieces, Scotty, Kyle, Destiny, and Summer. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Friday morning, January 16th 7:30-8:30AM followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
