Obituary

Nora Leary, age 89, of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Brockton and West Bridgewater, MA died Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Legacy Hospice Home in Ocala, Florida. She was born and educated in County Cork, Ireland, daughter of the late Con and Julia Lynch. She was the wife of the late Bernard Leary, and she is survived by two sons; Shawn and his wife Denise of Ocala, Florida, Joseph and his wife April of Lakeville, MA, five grandchildren, Joe, Samantha, Tracy, Jamie and Stephen. A sister; Mary Murphy and husband Michael of Brockton, a sister Sheila O'Sullivan, brothers; Alley and Jerh Lynch of Ireland and Tim and Rose Lynch of P.E.I., Canada and the late Shawn and Connie Lynch of Ireland. She had many nieces and nephews in the US and Ireland including her God children Maura, Barry, Diane, and Sheila.
Before her retirement, Nora had been employed by New England Telephone Co. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Ireland's Own. She was a communicant of St. Ann's Church in West Bridgewater, MA. Nora loved to listen to Irish music and entertain with friends and family.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Rte. 123, Brockton, MA on Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at St. Ann's Church in West Bridgewater at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
