Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, (Rte 28) Avon at 9am. Burial will be private. Visitation Wednesday from 8-8:45am. Donations in Noreen’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Obituary Information
Noreen Ford died Saturday evening at the Sunbridge Nursing Home, Randolph after a period of failing health.
Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Anna (Mullins) Ford. She was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury, Class of 1951. She entered the Sisters of Charity in Halifax and served as an educator in the community for 17 years, while furthering her education. She was stationed in New York, New Hampshire and locally in St. Patrick’s Parish, Lawrence, MA and Elizabeth Seton High School, Wellesley. She was a devoted aunt and sister. She enjoyed opera and reading. She is survived by her two sisters Nancy A. Noonan of Middleboro and Ginny Ford of Revere. 2 nephews John J. Noonan of East Bridgewater and Neal F. Noonan of West Springfield and 1 grandnephew Devlin Jack Noonan of East Bridgewater.
