Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Edward Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Roan died Wednesday evening at the Brockton Hospital TCU after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late J. Henry and Anna (McCabe) Minnehan. She was a lifelong resident of Brockton.

Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1943 and also a graduate from theFormer Brockton Business College. At her retirement she had worked for the Brockton Housing Authority. She enjoyed Summering in Dennisport, reading and time spent with her grandchildren.

Survived by her husband of 51 years. 2 sons Timothy C. Roan and Michael F. Roan 1 daughter Elizabeth A. McCarthy 8 grandchildren 1 sister Ann Delaney and several nieces and nephews.
