Born on February 26, 1936 in Thomonde, Haiti, he was the son of the late Dominique and Roselia (Joseph) Pierre. Mr. Pierre was an ex-soldier of the Armed Forces of Haiti, serving for 29 years. He was a loving man who loved all of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed going for walks and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children Marie-Maude, Rose Dany, Jean Holy, Patrick, Chenet, Mitsou, Romain, Olibert, Jr., Fabiola, Fania, Nadine, Beatrice, Daniel, Malayka, Glencia Gemima, Oliberta, Aliaa Thamara, Mamantha Saould, Marie Benneth, Horlane Manuelita, Geordany, Benbella, Jeff Dieuverson, Dextra, Dexter and Hubert; 46 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Friday, February 18th from 6:00-9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, February 19th at 8:00 AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
