Obituary

Otto Alfred Shaw, age 79, of Brockton, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary (Madden) Shaw of Brockton. Born in Dorchester and raised in Hyde Park and Easton, Otto was a son of the late Otto Alfred and Merlyn (Boyce) Shaw.

Otto was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School, N. Easton and went on to work as a professional painter his entire career. He loved fishing, camping, writing and woodworking. Otto enjoyed the love of his wife and sharing many laughs with her.

Otto was the father of Debra Domenico and Lori Shaw; brother of Donald Shaw and his longtime partner Pamela Moriarty of Westport and the late Barbara Claff. Otto is also survived by Mary's children Paul Pittman and his wife Norene of Brockton, Kenneth Pittman and his wife Andrea of North Dartmouth, Christine Hogan of Easton and Brenda Magliarditi of Brockton.
