Owen McBride passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the South Shore Hospital. He was the husband of the late Cathleen M. (Murphy) McBride. Born on May 27, 1935 in Toronto, Canada, he was the son of the late Owen J. McBride and Sara (McCumiskey) McBride. Owen enjoyed carpentry, gardening and reading. He was also active in the Catholic Church. He is survived by his nieces and nephews Cathleen (Heidel) Johannessen of Texas, Donald Heidel of Utah, Thomas Heidel of Ohio, Nancy (Heidel) Holley of Texas and Karen (Heidel) Leresti of Texas. A memorial mass will be held at Stonehill College, 320 Washington Street, North Easton on Friday, June 4th at 10:00am followed by interment in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
