Florio of Brockton unexpectedly, March 17, 2004, Pasquale P. “Pat” Florio, 92 years. Devoted husband for 68 years of Nellie (Kelley) Florio. Loving father of Barbara Almeida of Brockton and Robert Florio of Pocasset. Grandfather of Ronald and Keith Almeida and great grandfather of Alyssa. Brother of Frank Florio of Milton and Geraldine Perrault of Brockton.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 10:30 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Florio died Wednesday morning at the Brockton Hospital after being stricken ill at his home. Born in Brockton, son of the late Frank and Theresa (DeFalco) Florio. He was a life long resident of Brockton and a graduate of Brockton High School. For 43 years he was a salesman for the former Willis Furniture Company in Brockton. Previously he worked at Bethlehem Steel in the Fore River shipyard. He was a family man who enjoyed time spent with his family. Long time Communicant of St. Patrick Church

Survived by his wife of 68 years, Nellie (Kelley) Florio, a daughter, Barbara Almeida of Brockton and a son, Robert Florio of Pocasset, two grandsons, Ronald and Keith Almeida and one great granddaughter Alyssa, a brother Frank Florio of Milton and a sister, Geraldine Perrault of Brockton and many nieces and nephews.
