Patience Frazier, age 63, of Wareham, died peacefully, October 29, 2018 at Tremont Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center. Born in Stamford CT, she was the daughter of the late Bernard W. and M. Irene (Farrell) Frazier. Raised in Redding, CT and Hudson OH, she graduated from Hudson High School and attended Kent State University. Patience had been employed in several different healthcare professions. She was a positive and affirming person who loved to crack jokes and spend time socializing with family and friends, going to concerts, and enjoying many different restaurants. She had a lifelong love of music, especially enjoying musicians of the “British Invasion” of the 1960’s such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. She always enjoyed trips to Martha’s Vineyard with family and friends, and lived there for a brief time in the 1980’s. She also traveled extensively for pleasure. Patience lived the last 15 years of her life at the Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham where she was lovingly cared for.
Patience is survived by her sisters Faith Frazier Dean of West Bridgewater and Felicity Turner of Southold, NY and her brothers BJ Frazier of Savannah, GA and Luke Frazier of Cleveland, OH. She was the sister of the late Candida, Mark, Constance and Hope Frazier.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Massachusetts Chapter, The Schrafft Center, 529 Main Street, Ste 1M17, Boston, MA 02129.
