Obituary

Patricia J. (Morris) Burgess, age 67, of Brockton, died September 2, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a period of failing health. She was the wife of 46 years of Michael J. Burgess. Pat was born, raised and educated in Cambridge, daughter of the late Mitchell and Jean (Mickiewicz) Morris. She was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family gatherings gave her the greatest pleasure and since 1990 she loved to camp in Maine.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Kathleen Burgess of Hull, Michael J. Burgess, Jr. and his wife Shagufta of Pepperell, Peter Burgess and his wife Coleen of Halifax and Kevin Burgess and his wife LeeAnne of Brockton; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Paul Morris, Stanley Morris, Elena Lowory, Carol Shaw, Michael Morris, Cindy Wood and Diana Morris.
