Obituary

Patricia A. (Carroll) DiNicola, age 62, of Brockton, died November 1, 2015, at Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Richard A. DiNicola. Born, raised, and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Lorraine (MacLeod) Carroll. Pat was a strong, fearless, “tell it like it is” person, who enjoyed her freedom. She was also a loving, caring, and dependable woman who loved her family and children. She was an animal advocate, especially homeless cats, and enjoyed horseback riding. Pat had been employed by ET Wright in Rockland, and was a member of Local Teamsters Union while working at the Incinerator plant in Brockton.
Pat is survived by her four children, Tonia, Paul, Robert and Michelle DiNicola; 9 grandchildren, Brianna DiNicola, Joshua Singer, Corey, Colbey and Cameren MacLeod, Paul DiNicola, Jr., Justin DiNicola, Joshua Sylvia and Desiree DiNicola; 2 great grandchildren, Mila Coban and Malachi DiNicola. She was the sister of Denise, Diane and Steven Carroll and the late Debbie and Kathy Carroll.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday 4-7pm, followed by a funeral service at 7pm. Donations in Pat’s name may be made to the MSPCA, 1300 West Elm Street Ext. Brockton, MA 02301.
