Obituary

Patricia J. (Green) Hammond, age 72, of Brockton, formerly of Easton, died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Patricia was the loving wife for 49 years of Lewis A. Hammond. Born, raised and educated in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Helen (Lund) Green. For several years she had been employed at New England Sinai Hospital and Goddard Hospital. Loving and caring, she especially enjoyed time spent with her family, friends and grandchildren. She also enjoyed bowling, shuffle board, camping, dancing, and attending concerts. She was also a fan of Lawrence Welk and oldies music.

Patricia was the mother of Linda Fogarty of Brockton, Paula Hammond of Attleboro; grandmother of Lee Hammond and Amanda Hammond–Fogarty; great grandmother of Jordan Moreira and Trey and Dominic Coulter; and sister of Ronald Green of Weymouth. She is also survived by her aunt Jennie Green and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Saturday, October 6, from 12-1 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will be held in Melrose Cemetery at a later date.
