Obituary

Patricia A. (Dadmun) Mahoney, 78 years of Bridgewater died Tuesday July 7, 2009 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late James J. Mahoney, Jr. Pat was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Raymond N. and Grace C. (Smith) Dadmun. She had lived most of her life in Brockton before moving to Bridgewater a year ago.
Pat retired from the Patients Account Department of the Brockton VA Medical Center after more than 20 years of service. Previously she had worked in the laundry department of Brockton Hospital. Pat enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and ceramics and was a fan of QVC and a frequent shopper. She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the mother of Denise L. Granberg of Bridgewater, Joseph E. Souza, III of Portsmouth, RI and the late Bruce M. Dean. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Barbara Bailey, Helen Blaine, Bruce Dadmun and June Pratt.
Visiting hours will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday July 11, 2009 12 to 3 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Melrose Cemetery.
