Obituary

Patricia M. (Garrity) Murphy, age 73, of West Bridgewater died Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Good Samaritan Medical Center with her family at her side. She was the devoted wife for 54 years of Joseph W. Murphy.
Pattie was born in Boston and raised in Brockton, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Conley) Garrity. For the last 12 she lived in West Bridgewater.

A 1969 graduate of Brockton High School, Pattie was a billing adjudicator for Pharmerica for 18 years.
Pattie loved spending time with her family at the beach, playing bingo, listening to Irish music, gardening and cooking. She will be remembered as a hard working woman.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her son Brian J. Murphy of Holbrook, a sister Debbie Sullivan of N. Carolina and a grand daughter Peyton Lee Murphy. She was the mother of the late Shawn P. Murphy and sister of the late Diane, Chuckie, Paula, Danny and Mikey.

A Celebration of Life for Patricia will be held at a later date.
