Obituary

Patricia J. Chin (Mulvey) “Patty” age 60, of Whitman, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was the loving wife of William A. Chin and were married for thirty-five years.

Born and raised in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Barbara (Scully) Mulvey.

A loving and caring person who was devoted to her family, she had a snarky and quirky personality and loved all of her nieces and nephews. Patty enjoyed listening to Elvis and was an avid reader, especially romance novels.

Besides her husband Bill, she leaves her children, Christopher Chin of Boston, Jennifer (Alexander) Camman, of Miami, Timothy (Joshua) Chin of Holbrook, and Alexandra Chin of Quincy; four siblings, Debra Rodriguez of Worcester, Barbara Mulvey-Welsh of Boston, Tracey Bullock of Boston, and Laura Mulvey of Quincy; and three grandchildren, Isabella, Tyler, and Natalie.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 3:00 to 6:00pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will be private.
