Obituary

Patricia M. (Hanna) Wasil, 58 years of Brockton, died Friday August 15, 2008 at the Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital. She was born and raised in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Hannon) Hanna. Patricia was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Boston, and moved to Brockton 37 years ago.

She had been employed by Shaws on the south side of Brockton as a cashier for the past 12 years. Mrs. Wasil will be remembered by those who knew and loved her as a kind hearted, generous and loving person; who enjoyed hard work and having fun. She enjoyed reading and cooking, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters and a son, Diane White and her husband Mark of GA; Donna Wasil; Debra Miller and her husband Charles, Ronald W. Wasil all of Brockton and the late Joseph Wasil, fourteen grandchildren, a sister Barbara Falco of Rockland two brothers Donald of GA and James Hanna of Rockland and the late Paul and John Hanna, and her brother in law Michael Wasil. She was the wife of the late Ronald W. Wasil.

There will be a funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8am followed by a funeral mass in Christ The King Parish/ St. Colman Church at 9am. Cremation to follow. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8pm
