Patricia A. Williams, 80, of West Bridgewater, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital under the care of Old Colony Hospice & Palliative Care. She was the wife of the late Richard C. Williams for 52 years.
Born December 9, 1940 in Melrose, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. Crowley, a WWI Vet and Ethel M. (Jones) Crowley. Raised in Melrose, Patricia attended Melrose Schools.
Patricia worked in the Business Office/Human Resources at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in South Easton, MA for over 30 years prior to retirement. Prior to Southeastern Regional, she worked as a legal secretary in Boston for many years before having her children.
Patricia was very involved in the West Bridgewater Community; she lived on Crescent Street for 55 years. She attended Laughter Yoga classes at the West Bridgewater Public Library and Tai Chi and Line Dancing classes at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging. She was known as "Happy Feet" at her line dancing classes. She loved attending the summer concerts at the Gazebo in West Bridgewater. She was known for wearing her "goofy" holiday hats and headbands. Patricia was a kind, caring, funny soul who loved making people laugh.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen T. Williams-Flipp and her husband David A. Flipp of West Bridgewater and Brian R. Williams and his wife of Plymouth and her grandson, Joey Williams of Plymouth.
She was the mother of her first-born son, the late Richard C. "Ricky" Williams and the sister of the late Evelyn M. Crowley and Mary Crowley Barter.
At the family's request, services will be private.
