This January 19th, Paul Charles of Brockton, took his final breath. The sun rose and the world welcomed Paul on December 18th, 1935, a day the world became a little brighter. Paul lived a full and warm life, filled with love and family. A transplant from his birthplace of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was a retired mechanic, had a passion for watching soccer, playing the numbers, and most of all his family. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Frank, a lawyer from Cap-Haitien, Haiti, and Marie from Gonaives, Haiti; his older siblings, Ludovic, Madeleine, and Nicolas; and his children, Micheline, Gabrielle, and Frero. Paul is survived by his children, Roselaine, Malia, Chantal, Claude, Judith, Wilfrid, Sander, Irmine, and Fèfè; his grandchildren, Betty, Hasskarll, Regine, Donel, Peter, Dorline, Maelys, Vaneca, Laudney, Wilnise, Stechella, Betty, Faina, Rose Thamar, Deborah, Chris Darryll, Yonel, and Besaïna; his great-grandchildren, Ollyvier, Nathan, Skarlldyne, Therry, Marcus, and Adelina; and his nieces, Julie, and Margaret. Calling hours will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Friday, January 28th from 9:00-11:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
