IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul A.
Nickerson
August 24, 1957 – July 11, 2024
Paul A Nickerson ("Nick") passed away unexpectedly in his Brockton home. He was the beloved son of the late Thomas L Nickerson Jr and Kathleen F (Mack) Nickerson of Brockton.
Nick was a 1975 graduate of Brockton High School. Upon graduation, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, proudly serving his country. After discharge he worked many years at the Shaw's warehouse in E Bridgewater until they moved their operations to Maine. Subsequently he was employed at Sysco as a heavy equipment mechanic maintaining their big rigs.
Nick was the ultimate "gear head". He could take apart an engine and put it back together in record time. He was currently restoring a '69 Chevy El Camino. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and his dirt bike. He was a well-known and well respected pool player in the Brockton area qualifying for tournaments in Vegas.
Nick is survived by his brother Michael Nickerson of Pawleys Island SC and sister Sue Ellen Nickerson of Taunton. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law Marc Debenedictis of E Bridgewater and his four nephews Dean and Brett Debenedictis and David and Matthew Nickerson. He was brother of the late Karen Debenedictis. Also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be no services per Paul's request.
If desired, donations may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, ocrahope.org , in memory of his dear mother and sister.
