IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul R.
Pomerleau
May 17, 1959 – June 28, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our brother, Paul R Pomerleau on Saturday June 28, 2025. . We are devastated that he left this world in such a tragic, vicious and senseless manner.
Paul leaves behind 4 siblings- his identical twin brother Peter, his brother Joe and his 2 sisters- Helen and Diane. Also 1 aunt, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Paul was the father of 3 biological children- Kristy, Jamie and Jasmine, 3 grandchildren- Mercedes, Brandi Lee and Bentley.
Paul was predeceased by his parents- Bert and Grace, and his youngest brother John. We are certain Paul was welcomed with open arms. His wounds are now healed, he's free from pain and his illnesses cured.
Our mother gave birth to Paul and Peter in 1959- a time when ultrasounds, Dads in the delivery room and gender reveals did not occur. Surprise! Our mother gave birth to her biggest baby (Paul) and smallest baby (Peter) on May 17, 1959, with a combined weight of more than 14 pounds!
Our mother always dressed them alike when they were young. She also requested that they be in the same class in school when they were young. Being identical twins, Paul and Peter had a special bond.
Growing up in the 60's:
Life was simpler, slower paced- no internet, electronics and cell phones. Playing outside- rain or shine, shoveling snow to earn spending $$, baseball games, parades, visiting cousins, vacationing at Ellis Haven in Plymouth- campfires, swimming, fishing, rowing boats, and blueberry picking, playing cards and board games, Cape Cod pizza…
Paul and Peter were destined to follow in their father's footsteps. They worked beside their father in his business, Pomerleau Tree Service when they were young boys. Both twins continued this line of work as adults. Paul's business was Fairview Firewood. They both developed their strong work ethic from their father. Paul and Peter were Bert's pride and joy. RIP Paul.
