Tighe of Carver March 24, 2006 Paul J. Tighe 53 years. Husband of Barbara J. (Morse) Tighe. Father of Jill of Plymouth; Lisa of Bridgewater; James and Patrick both of Carver. Brother of Muriel Berryman of Fall River; Robert Tighe of N. Reading and the late James E. Tighe. Step son of Theresa Tighe of Carver.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 10:30 am. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Mr. Tighe died Friday evening at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a lengthy illness. He was born in Boston a son of the late Robert and Carolyn (Lydon) Tighe. He was also the step son of Theresa Tighe of Carver. Mr. Tighe was raised and educated in Randolph and was a graduate of Randolph High School Class of 1971.
At the time of his death he was employed as a custodian for the Brockton School Department. He had worked at the Davis, Belmont Street and Whitman Elementary Schools. Previously he had been employed at Chase & Sons/Avon Custom Mixing and Randy Manufacturing.
Mr. Tighe had been an avid fisherman and loved the ocean. He also enjoyed hunting and watching football and hockey.
He is survived by his wife Barbara J. (Morse) Tighe. Four children Jill of Plymouth; Lisa of Bridgewater; James and Patrick both of Carver. He was the brother of Muriel Berryman of Fall River; Robert Tighe of N. Reading and the late James E. Tighe. Step son of Theresa Tighe of Carver.
