Obituary

Pauline M. (Damon) Ashley, age 79, of West Bridgewater, died March 19, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Pauline was the beloved wife for 61 years of Allan R. Ashley. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Johanna (Dermody) Damon. Pauline worked for Lindquist Pharmacy, Randy Boat Shoe and the Foxboro Company. She was an avid Bruins fan, enjoyed writing and was devoted to the St. Therese Society of the Little Flower.

Pauline was the mother of Theresa L. Ashley of West Bridgewater, James Ashley and his wife Anita of Whitman and the late Allan Ashley, Jr.; grandmother of Ian Ashley and sister of the late Vincent Damon.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 1-3pm, followed by a funeral service at 3pm. Please consider donations in Pauline’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
