Pauline M. (Hart) Larson, a longtime resident of Brockton, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022. She was 76 years old. She was the devoted wife of the late Larry C. Larson. Born and raised in Waltham, Pauline was one of ten children to the late Bartholomew and Ariel (Morse) Hart. After marrying, Pauline and Larry moved to Brockton where they raised their daughters, Donna and Christine. Brockton is also where Pauline worked for the city's School Lunch Program for many years. For the past 10 years, Pauline resided at Heights Crossing in Brockton where she made many good friends. Pauline was a very caring person who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed having her family over for gatherings and was always present for those special family occasions. She spent a lot of her time with her four grandchildren as they grew into adults. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Pauline had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. Among those that survive her are her two daughters, Donna Callachan and her husband William of Bridgewater, MA, Christine Kalnicki and her husband Thomas of Norton, MA and four grandchildren, Matthew Callachan, Emily Callachan, Derek Kalnicki and Devin Kalnicki, all of whom she adored. Pauline is also survived by three siblings, Thomas Hart and his wife Rosemarie of Waltham, MA, Virginia (Ginger) Simpson of Sandwich, MA and Norman Hart and his wife Kim of Bedford, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers Donald Hart and Larry Hart and four sisters, Marilyn Doyle, Arlene Chiasson, Barbara Thomas and Patricia MacDonald. Family and friends will honor Pauline's life by gathering at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Route 123 in Brockton, MA on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Visiting hours will be from 10 am to 12pm followed by a funeral service at 12 pm and burial immediately following at Melrose Cemetery.
