Darrah, of Brockton, May 31, 2005, Peter V. Darrah, 51 years. Husband of Lynda (Pawlowski) Darrah. Father of Linda Parker and Noella Cote, grandfather of Umberto, Ray and Brandon; brother of David Darrah, Diane Lamoureux and Susan Butler.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service in the First Baptist Church Monday at 9am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Peter’s name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924

Obituary Information

Peter V. Darrah of Brockton, died Tuesday evening at the Tippett House in Needham after a lengthy illness. Born in Attleboro, son of the late Charles and Virginia (Ballou) Darrah. He was raised in Mansfield, was a graduate of Mansfield High School and received his Associates Degree in Economics from Dean Jr. College. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army. He had been a longtime employee of Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro; was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife Lynda (Pawlowski) Darrah, two daughters Linda Parker of Mt. Dora, FL and Noella Cote of Orlando, FL, three grandchildren Umberto, Ray and Brandon; a brother David Darrah of Randolph, Diane Lamoureux of North Attleboro and Susan Butler of Mansfield and several nieces and nephews.
