Obituary

Peter Merianos, 62, of Middleboro, passed away suddenly at home on December 24th, 2024. Born in Athens, Greece, Peter moved to the US when he was 9 and brought his strong work ethic and unwavering love for family to every part of his life.

Peter was the son of late Regina and Nicholas Merianos, beloved husband of Karen Merianos and the devoted father of Nicholas Merianos and Andrea Merianos. He also leaves behind his sister Jean Giasimaki of Greece, sister Tula Morad of Florida. A true family man, he worked tirelessly to provide a life filled with security and opportunity for those he loved. Despite his busy days running his HVAC business with his cousin Peter Merianos of over 30 years, he always found time to be present with his family.

He was a man of many passions: fishing, camping, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and sharing Sunday breakfasts with his family. His love for his dogs and all animals was a reflection of his kind and generous spirit. Peter had a unique ability to turn even the darkest days into something manageable, always knowing how to make others feel valued and supported.

Peter demonstrated the true meaning of unconditional love. His warm smile, the sound of his laughter, and his steadfast presence will forever be cherished. His legacy of love, wisdom, and sacrifice lives on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A wake will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Russell Pica Funeral Home - 17 Main St., Lakeville, MA
