Peter F. Miller

Peter F. Miller, age 66, of Hull, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, after a brief illness.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late John and Lois M. (Minnear) Miller.

He worked as an estimator for Plymouth Quarries in Hingham for close to forty years.

Peter was laid back and easy going. He enjoyed his leisurely mornings sleeping in and savoring his coffee. Anywhere he went he was bound to run into somebody he knew. He was a gentle soul and loved all animals.

An avid Boston sports fan, he spent his time watching games from the comfort of his recliner chair. In addition, he liked playing darts and listening to music in his garage, which he took great pride in. During the winter he enjoyed his yearly ski trip with his brother John. He was known for his cooking and looked forward to making his famous meals for his daughters.

Peter leaves behind his former wife Sally, the mother of his two loving daughters Katherine Miller of Whitman and Abigail E. Miller of Quincy; a sister Susan Pettifer of Florida; and his nieces and nephews Ian, Dustin, Andrea, Suzie, Johnny, Connor, Amanda, and Graham. He was the brother of the late John W. F. Miller and Anne Noble.

A celebration of his life will be held in Hull, MA on the afternoon of April 25th, 2026. Details of the celebration of life will be published here on his obituary page.
