It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter F. Monsini, 51, who died on Saturday, March 26th, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic demolition accident in Boston.
Born on December 9th, 1970, Peter was the son of Harold "Duke" Monsini and Brenda R. (Murray) Monsini of Brockton. Peter was a devoted father to his son Anthony who he adored. He was the fun uncle ("funcle") to his many nieces and nephews who truly lit up in his company. He was a fun-loving, caring and generous brother.
Peter was a passionate man who loved life. He knew how to enjoy where he was and appreciate who he was with. He loved cooking, spending time with family, and living his best life with his soulmate, Alicia ("Judy") Logan.
Peter was a member of the Local 4 Operating Engineers Union for the past 20 years. He was truly happiest running heavy equipment, having grown up in a family devoted to the demolition trade for the past 3+ generations. Peter started with the family business, Hercules Wrecking Co., and worked on many projects throughout New England during his career.
