Obituary

Peter V. Rogers, age 66, of Brockton died July 9, 2019 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital after a brief illness. Peter was the son of the late John and Beatrice (Clifford) Rogers. Born and raised in Brockton, Peter was a graduate of Brockton High School and Bridgewater State College. He worked as a social worker, specializing in the teenage population.

In his free time Peter enjoyed Boston sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. He was a bird watcher, gardener and an avid solver of crossword puzzles.

Peter was the brother of David Rogers and his wife Barbara of Easton, William Rogers and his wife Karen of Upton, Patricia Pratt and her husband Edward of Granville, Richard Rogers and his wife Michelle of Lakeville, and the late Paula Rogers, John Rogers, Jr, and Susan Rogers. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
