Obituary

Phyllis B. (Rainville) Benoit, age 77, of North Easton, formerly of West Bridgewater and Brockton, died peacefully August 9, 2018 at Care Dimensions Hospice House. Born in Brockton, Phyllis was the daughter of the late William A. and Beatrice E. (Laliberte) Rainville. Raised and educated in Brockton, she was a graduate of Brockton Hospital School of Nursing. Before retiring in 2007, Phyllis was employed as a Registered Nurse at Brockton Hospital for 40 years, many of which were spent as an Operating Room nurse. Phyllis was an avid fan of her grandsons’ sporting events and also enjoyed Patriots, Red Sox and college football games.

Phyllis is survived by two daughters Lynne Benoit of West Roxbury and Kristine Chochrek and her husband Michael of Foxboro and two grandsons Adam and Joshua Chochrek.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Tuesday 3-6pm. Private graveside services will be held in Calvary Cemetery. Please consider donations in her name to the Women’s Lunch Place, PO Box 170900, Boston, MA 02117.
