Doyle, of Brockton, July 2, 2003, Phyllis M. (Banik) Doyle, 65 years. Wife of Timothy A. Doyle. Mother of Karen Blood and her husband Scott, and Douglas Doyle and his wife Karen. Grandmother of Melissa and Stephanie Blood and Timothy Doyle.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11am. Burial in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8pm. Donations in Phyllis’s name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 N. Main St., Ste 104, Natick, MA 01760.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Doyle died unexpectedly Wednesday at New England Baptist Hospital, Boston. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Thomas P. and Marguerita R. (Manning) Banik. She attended Boston schools, graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School and attended Boston University. She had been a Ward Secretary at the Cardinal Cushing/Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center for 20 years retiring in 1998. She enjoyed cross-stitch and time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years Timothy A. Doyle, one daughter Karen Blood of East Bridgewater, one son Douglas Doyle of Winthrop Maine, three grandchildren, three brothers Thomas Banik of Westminster, VT, John Banik of Dedham, Blaise Banik of Massachusetts, two sisters Martha Daly of Quincy, and Darlene Burr of Massachusetts. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert Banik.
