Phyllis J. (Francoline) Froio, 73, loving wife of Thomas J. Froio, Jr., passed into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Falmouth Hospital after a lengthy illness that she valiantly fought for 20 years.
Born February 21, 1939 in Brockton she was the daughter of the late Nicole Francoline and Theresa (Ventri) Francoline.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Froio, Jr.; her daughter Doreen A. Boggs of Virginia; her two grandchildren that she adored, Daniel T. Boggs and Tiffany Boggs of Virginia. She was the mother of the late Thomas J. Froio, III. She is also survived by her two sisters, Beatrice Nash of Brockton and Marguerite O'Donnell of Middleboro. She was the sister of the late Joseph Francoline. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends who loved her and her great sense of humor.
Before moving to Mashpee Phyllis was a waitress at the Tip Top Caf, Edmunds Restaurant and the Maui Chinese Restaurant. In her retirement years she worked at the Old House Gift and Antique Shop in Buzzards Bay. She loved the sunshine and Florida where she spent her last few winters. Phyllis and her husband were deeply devoted to each other. Her husband was a very special and dedicated caregiver. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was a true friend.

Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Avon. Calling hours Friday, May 4, 2012 from 6:00-9:00PM.
