Obituary

Phyllis R. (Goddard) Hallisey of Wareham, formerly of Brockton, passed away on February 22, 2008 at home following a long illness. She was born in Winthrop in 1927 lived in Revere and Wollaston Beach prior to moving to Brockton in 1949. She worked as a telephone operator in Boston and at Eaton Shoe Company in Brockton. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton for many years.

The beloved wife of 59 years of Daniel J. Hallisey of Wareham, she is also survived by her children, Kevin J. Hallisey and his wife Elaine of Brockton, Stephen J. Hallisey and his wife Diane of Plymouth, and grandsons Nathan S. Hallisey of Kingston and Jared W. Hallisey of Plymouth. She was the mother of the late William P. Hallisey.

She was the sister of Doris (Goddard) Perkins of Mashpee and Jack Goddard of Weymouth.

Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 PM in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Funeral from the funeral home Wednesday at a 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St. Brockton at 11 AM.
