Phyllis R. Van Namee Phyllis R. "Aunty B." Van Namee, 81, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 in Brockton, after a period of failing health. Born on November 7, 1928 in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John W. Van Namee and Ethel R. (Miller) Van Namee. Phyllis worked for Magnesium Casting in Hyde Park as a Supervisor of Inventory Control before retiring in 1991. She was a dedicated fan of the Boston red Sox and loved crossword puzzles and reading her Harlequins. Aunty B. is survived by her 2 nephews and 2 nieces, Stephen R. Ravida of Buzzard's Bay, Deborah J. (Ravida) McCarthy and her husband Brian of Mansfield, Cheryl A. (Ravida) Kondroski and her husband Andrew of Brockton and Mark E. Ravida of Wareham; she is also survived by 7 grand nephews/nieces as well as 3 great nephews/nieces. Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister Norma Jean (Van Namee) Ravida of Brockton and her nephew, Kenneth A. Ravida of Williamsburg, VA.
