Phyllis (Cappiello) Sergi It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis (Cappiello) Sergi announces her passing after a period of failing health on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, at the age of 91 years. She was the wife of the late William Sergi, to whom she was married to for 63 years. Born December 23, 1919 in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Cappiello and Theresa (Licursi) Cappiello. Mrs. Sergi was a Sales Clerk at Edgar's Department Store in Brockton for many years. She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Norrine Solari of Wilmington and Karen Duquette of Brockton; as well as her sister, Dorothy Gale and her husband Robert of Bridgewater; she will also be forever remembered by her eight grandchildren, Kimbly, W.Gregory, Wendy, Dawn, Jeffrey, Frederick, Jr., Nicole, Julie and eleven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Michael and Louis Cappiello. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
