Pierce of Brockton February 1, 2006 Priscilla A. Pierce 73 years. Loving mother of Dagmar A. Pierce of Taunton and the late Frances Jane Pierce. Beloved grandmother of Scott A. Pierce. Great grandmother of Andi-Lynn and Liam F. Pierce. Sister of Donna Kartstein of Plainville; Brenda Larmey of Attleboro; June Stevens of Hyannis and the late Donald and Robert Wilson. Longtime companion of the late James F. Monahan. Longtime friend of JoAnne Magliarditi of Taunton. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday 1-5 pm with a prayer service at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Priscilla’s name may be made to Beacon Hospice 45 N. Main St., Fall River, MA 02720.
Obituary
Mrs. Pierce died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter in Taunton after a brief illness.
She was born, raised and educated in Pembroke a daughter of the late James A. and Helen (Oksanen) Wilson. For many years she had been a resident of Brockton.
For over 30 years Mrs. Pierce had been a stitcher for Nardi Sportswear in Brockton. She had also worked as a secretary at Alco Sign in Holbrook and Franklin Sports in Stoughton. She had been a member of the IGWA union for many years.
Mrs. Pierce enjoyed reading and country western music and will be remembered as a “shopaholic”.
When living in Brockton she had been a communicant of St. Colman Church.
She is survived by her daughter Dagmar A. Pierce of Taunton, one grandson and two great grandchildren. She leaves three sisters Donna Kartstein of Plainville; Brenda Larmey of Attleboro; June Stevens of Hyannis and many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her longtime friend JoAnne Magliarditi of Taunton.
She was the mother of the late Frances Jane Pierce and sister of the late Donald and Robert Wilson.
