Obituary

Priscilla R. Smart, 65 years, of Brockton, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at her home. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of Ruth I. (Willis) Smart of Brockton and the late Robert E. Smart, Sr. She was a graduate of Bridgewater State College and Boston University. For many years she had been employed as a Nurses Aide at Brockton Hospital; a counselor at Mass Rehab; had her own private practice Ocean Breeze Counseling and was currently a professor of Psychology at Massasoit Community College. Priscilla was a collector of fine dolls, Precious Moments, Snow Babies and Cherished Teddies, of which she loved her dolls the most. She was also an avid shopper.

Priscilla was the sister of Paulette Sanford of Taunton, Peggy Barros of Bridgewater, William Smart of Brockton, Penny Smart of Wareham, Pauline Spencer of E. Bridgewater, Phyllis Smart of Brockton, Pamela Sheehan of Brockton, Patti Ciaramella of Brockton and the late Robert E. Smart, Jr. She was the aunt of more than 80 nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and loved every one of them.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm.
