To watch the live stream of Rafael and Tiago's funeral service, click the following link: Funeral Mass Rafael Nunes Andrade, 13, of Brockton and formerly of Cape Verde, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in a tragic accident at D.W. Fields Park in Brockton. Born in Fogo, Cape Verde on December 22, 2007, he was the son of Emanuel Nunes and Euridice Lina Nunes. Rafael attended South Middle School. He enjoyed playing soccer and video games, art, riding bikes, playing with his siblings and cousins, and exploring new surroundings as he had just moved to the states from Cape Verde. He was also a huge help with his younger siblings and cousins. In addition to his parents, Rafael is survived by his brothers Ronilson Nunes and Neelias Nunes Pires; his sister Rafaela Nunes; his paternal and maternal grandparents; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral Mass will be held in St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton on Tuesday, June 1st at 12:00 PM followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be held in Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton on Monday, May 31st from 4:00-8:00 PM.
