DiPesa of Bridgewater formerly of Brockton Jan.13, 2004 Ralph J. DiPesa, Sr. 88 years. Beloved husband of Josephine P. (Farro) DiPesa. Loving father of Rosemarie Casarano and Ralph J. Di Pesa, Jr. both of Bridgewater. Grandfather of Lisa Sprague, Nicole Caccavo and John Casarano.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 9 am. The 10 am Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Richard C. Conway of St. Margaret Parish in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church 900 Main St. Brockton. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Mr. DiPesa died Tuesday morning at the Brockton Hospital following a brief illness. Born and raised in Revere, son of the late Patrick and Phoebe (Silvera) DiPesa. For the past five years had been a resident of Bridgewater, previousvly living five years in Brockton and many years in East Boston. He retired in 1980 as a painter from Boston City Hospital after many years. He enjoyed bowling and he was active at St. Anthony’s Church while a resident of Revere.

Survived by his wife of 64 years, Josephine P. (Farro) DiPesa, one daughter, Rosemarie Casarano and one son, Ralph J. Di Pesa, Jr. both of Bridgewater, three grandchildren, Lisa Sprague, Nicole Caccavo and John Casarano, seven great grandchildren and one sister Phyllis Hines of Arizona and one brother John DiPesa of Chelsea.
