Ralph Carl Grillone, Sr., of Hollywood, Florida, formerly of Brockton and North Easton, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025 at the age of 88. He was the son of Maria and Vincenzo Grillone. Ralph married his beloved wife Frances (Cerci) Grillone in 1956. They lived in Brockton for many years before moving to North Easton, and eventually retiring to Hollywood, Florida in 1998.

Ralph attended Brockton High School, where he was an honor roll student and served as co-captain of the varsity football team, graduating in 1954. He is also a graduate of Wentworth College where he earned an associate's degree. Ralph served as Vice President of Wood-Hu Kitchens in West Bridgewater until his retirement. He was an avid handball player, winning several state championships, and a member of the Brockton YMCA for nearly 50 years.

In addition to his love of handball, Ralph enjoyed reading, history, swimming, dancing, and spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed traveling to Italy to visit family there.

Ralph's many loved ones include his wife Frances, his children Cheryl (Grillone) Kelley, the late Carin Grillone, and Ralph Grillone, Jr. and his wife Jodi (Ferrini) all of Brockton. Ralph is also survived by his grandchildren Keara Kelley, Ralph Grillone III, Rocky Grillone, and Gianna Grillone, and his great-granddaughter Clare Kelley, all of Brockton.

Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, February 12th from 9:30-10:30 thence to St. Ann Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
