Sheehan of Brockton January 30. 2004 Ralph F. Sheehan 66 years. Husband of Agatha C. (Berteletti) Sheehan. Father of Mark of Brockton; Jeff of Westminster, MD; Scott of Halifax and Stacey Thibeault of So. Easton. Grandfather of Christopher and Elizabeth Sheehan; Emily, Matthew, Samuel and Luke Thibeault and Allison and Jared Sheehan. Son of Bertha Sheehan of Brockton and the late John Sheehan.

A private funeral service will be held at the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, Brockton with burial at the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers donations in Ralph’s name may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.

Obituary

Ralph F. Sheehan 66years of Brockton died Friday at the Brockton Hospital. He was the Husband of 43 years to Agatha (Berteletti) Sheehan. He was born in Brockton son of Bertha (Tardie) Sheehan of Brockton and the late John Sheehan and remained a lifelong resident.

Mr. Sheehan attended Brockton schools graduating from Brockton High School in 1955. Mr. Sheehan then served as an enlisted man in the US Army and was stationed in France and Germany until his Honorable Discharge in 1958.

Mr. Sheehan then joined Polaroid Corporation. During his 37 year career with this innovative firm, Mr. Sheehan was granted patents for several of his inventions which were adopted by Polaroid.

He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed freshwater fishing in Massachusetts and deer hunting in Maine.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children Mark of Brockton; Jeff of Westminster, MD; Scott of Halifax and Stacey Thibeault of So. Easton. He was grandfather of Christopher and Elizabeth Sheehan; Emily, Matthew, Samuel and Luke Thibeault and Allison and Jared Sheehan.

He was the brother of Richard Sheehan of E. Bridgewater, David Sheehan of Texas, Jeremy Sheehan of Virginia and the late Noreen Spies.He also leaves several nieces and nephews
