Ralph B. Souza, 74, of West Bridgewater, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and Old Colony Hospice after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Judith M. (Brown) Souza. Born February 21, 1944 in Brockton, MA he was the son of the late Walter B. Souza and Helen L. (Hunter) Souza. Raised and educated in West Bridgewater, Ralph was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School. He served his country at an early age in the United States Army. Ralph was a truck driver for T.L. Edwards Inc. for 46 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid baseball fan who enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox. Ralph also worked on a NASCAR race team where he worked in the pit crew. He enjoyed spending time with his family and several grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Judith M. (Brown) Souza; his children, Deborah Garland and her husband Toby, Philip Souza and his wife Monique, Scott Souza and his wife Kelly and Karen DeMolles and her husband Steve; his grandchildren, Christopher, Jeremy, Dominique, Erin, Lyndsey, Philip, William, Lauren, Timothy, Zachary, Kyle, Erika and Hannah; his great-grandchildren, Gavin, Wyatt, Rayna, Landon, Ava, Zoey and Jaxson; his sister, Janice Sousa and her husband Richard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (RT28) West Bridgewater on Thursday, May 31st at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
