Obituary

Raymond Earl Lewis Raymond Earl Lewis , 83, of West Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the Coyne Health Care Center in Rockland after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Josephine A. (Vella) Lewis. Born October 18, 1927 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Earl W. Lewis and Cecelia (Howley) Lewis. Raised in Brockton, he graduated from Brockton High School. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Lewis was a retired Coordinator for the Foxboro Company for over 25 years. He lived most of his life in Brockton and Wareham and enjoyed to ride his motorcycle. He is survived by his sons, Guy Lewis and his wife Donna of Halifax and James Lewis and his wife Susan of Hanson; his grandchildren, Guy Lewis, Jr. of Middleboro, Derek Robert Lewis of Middleboro, Shawn Ryan Lewis of Halifax, Lindsey Lewis of Rockland and Jeffrey Lewis of Hanson; his great-granddaughter, Autumn; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Friday, April 22nd at 12:30PM. Interment will be in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Thursday 5:00-8:00PM.
