Raymond J. "Ray" Robishaw
, 80, of Brockton died Sunday, May 13, 2007 at the Brockton Hospital after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Lillian E. (Thomas) Robishaw.
Born August 27, 1926 in Rockland, Maine, he was the son of the late Harry J. Robishaw and Madeline (Daggart) Danforth. He was a Brockton resident for over 65 years. He served in the United States Army for seven years as a Sargeant during World War II.
He worked for Vulcan Shoe Company for several years as a shoe worker before retiring. He enjoyed watching television, playing guitar, and puzzles.
He is survived by his children, Harry J. Robishaw and his wife Therese of Nantucket, Robert M. Robishaw and his wife Rosemary of Carver; Linda L. Robishaw of Stoughton, Karen M. Robishaw and Brenda L. Robishaw, both of Brockton; his grandchildren, Jodie Robishaw, Jennifer Buginga, Timothy Robishaw, Ashley Robishaw, Harry Robishaw, II., Stacey Robishaw; his great grandson, Manny Buginga; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Richard Robishaw and Helen Jackson.
Funeral Information
Funeral Service will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton on Wednesday, May 16th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Tuesday evening 4:00-7:00PM.
