Born June 4, 1920 in Fogo, Cape Verde she was the daughter of the late Inacio and Maria Julia (Teixeira) Lopes. She is survived by her children, Maria Socorro L. DePina, Valdemiro Pina Lopes, Lucinda L.P. Fernandes, Rosalina P. Silva, Victor Lopes DePina, Antonio Lopes DePina and Joao Brito L. DePina; 33 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
