Renata E. (Verderi) Hogan, 89, of Brockton, died peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton.
Born and raised in Udine, Cividale, Italy, she became a teacher after graduating.
She married the late James B. Hogan and came to Brockton after World War II. She learned key punch and worked for different companies, retiring from Knapp Shoe. She loved her home, decorating for the holidays. She especially loved Christmas and was very generous to her family and friends.
She was the beloved mother of Ralph Hogan and his wife Louise of Avon; loving grandmother of Christopher Hogan and his wife Janet of North Attleboro, Scott Hogan and his wife Lynn of Attleboro and James Hogan and his wife Jennifer Parr of Norfolk; great-grandmother to Erica, Kathryn, Samuel, Preston, Alexandra, Benjamin and Emma; she also leaves her dear friend, Athena Critikos of Brockton.
Funeral Information
All are welcome to her funeral mass on Friday, March 15th at 10:00AM in St. Michael Parish, 87 North Main St., Avon. Interment will follow in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15PM. Calling hours omitted.
