Online Obituaries Renette M. (Perrin) Milord, 80, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Anthony V. Milord. Born on September 22, 1934 in Camp-Perrin, Haiti, Renette was the daughter of the late Ren Perrin and Ultida (Moise) Perrin and one of seven children. She was a graduate of Ecole Nationale des Infirmires in Haiti, where as second in her class, she received the equivalent of a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She worked as a Medical-Surgical Nurse for the Hpital de lUniversit dEtat dHaiti for 30 years before her retirement. Renette was an exceptionally devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a strong role model for her daughters, nieces, and granddaughters. She was the faithful and strong force behind her husband throughout his life and the rock of the family. She was a devout Catholic who practiced her faith daily: keeping her family united and opening her home to friends and neighbors in need. The list of people she impacted during her lifetime is long indeed. Renettes hobbies were taking care of others, cooking, gardening and sewing. She had acquired a remarkable knowledge of medicinal herbs over the years that she readily shared with others and was always ready with some infusion or herbal tea for relief. Renette is survived by her children, Zela Desrosiers, Marie-Josee Joubert, Regine Milord-Mendes, Annick Noel, Anthony Milord; her grandchildren, Fedelyne Desrosiers, Daphnee Desrosiers, Evamarie Joubert, Kassandra Mendes, Dominique Mendes, Alec Milord, Tyrza Milord, Anya Milord, and Sasha Milord; her siblings, Rock Perrin, Stenio Perrin, Wylss Perrin and Jean Perrin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Monday, August 17th at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton at 10:30AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours Sunday from 2:00PM 5:00PM.
