Richard Michael "Richie" Caputo, Jr., 59, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his home in Brockton surrounded by his loving family. Born April 28, 1959 in the Bronx, New York he was the son of Richard and Vivian (Costanzo) Caputo. Richie moved back to Brockton from New York in 1971 and then moved to East Bridgewater for several years. Richie was employed as a driver for BFI Sanitation. He enjoyed baseball, softball and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, New York Jets and of WWF Wrestling. He is survived by his three sisters; Patricia Barbetto and her husband Salvatore, Barbara DeIulio and her husband William and Roxanne Caputo; several nieces and nephews and close friend, Rita LeBenz. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St.,(Rt.28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, October 31st at 8:00AM thence to St. Ann's Church, 103 No. Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM. Private cremation will follow. Interment will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00PM.
