Online Obituaries Richard D. Carbonara, Sr., 68, of Hernando, Florida and formerly of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Lecanto, Florida. Born September 12, 1943 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Pasquale Carbonara and Josephine (Spadea) Carbonara. He attended Brockton Schools. He worked in construction as well as working at Century Paper Company and Bridgewater Foundry. He lived in Brockton before retiring 7 years ago to move to Hernando, Florida. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed golfing and ten pin bowling. He is survived by his children, Richard Carbonara, II and his wife Carla of Brockton and Kristen Tello and her husband Paul of Lakeville; his siblings, Claire Harvey of FL, Marie Schofield of FL, Barbara McEntee of East Bridgewater, Lucille Sedani of Brockton, Carol DaSilva of Bridgewater, Patricia Blanchard of Bridgewater, Debra Perham of CA and Perry Carbonara of FL; his grandchildren, Paul Stephen Tello, II, Nicholas Tello, Richard Carbonara, III and Christopher Carbonara; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph and Ronald Carbonara. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, May 15th at 9:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:30AM.
